Air conditioner installation
From a single wall split to a full VRF or chilled-water installation. Most air conditioner complaints are installation faults, not unit faults — our teams do the pipework, vacuum and commissioning properly, and we warrant the workmanship.
Why installation quality decides how your unit performs
A split air conditioner is only sealed and charged once it is on your wall. Everything that determines whether it reaches its rated capacity happens during installation: whether the lines were evacuated to a proper vacuum, whether the flares were cut and torqued correctly, whether the pipe run is within the length the compressor was designed for, and whether the outdoor unit can actually reject heat where it has been mounted.
Get those wrong and the symptoms appear months later — weak cooling, ice on the pipework, a compressor that short-cycles, or a slow refrigerant leak that empties the system over a season. The unit gets blamed. The installation was the cause.
The part nobody photographs
Pressure testing and evacuating the lines is invisible, takes time, and no customer ever sees it happen. It is also the step that decides whether your unit reaches its rated capacity or quietly underperforms for the next ten years.
It is the first thing skipped when an installer is paid by the job and running late. We do not skip it, and we warrant the workmanship.

Site survey and sizing check
We confirm the unit suits the room before anything is drilled, and agree the indoor and outdoor positions with you.

Bracket and unit mounting
Outdoor unit mounted level, on brackets rated for the weight, with the clearance it needs to reject heat and without transmitting vibration into the wall.

Pipework, drain and cabling
Insulated copper lines, a condensate drain with continuous fall so it cannot back up, and correctly rated interconnecting cable.

Pressure test and vacuum
The system is pressure tested for leaks, then evacuated to remove air and moisture. Skipping this is the single most common shortcut, and the most damaging.

Commissioning and handover
Gas charge verified, running pressures and temperatures checked, controls demonstrated to you, and warranty paperwork completed before we leave.

Installation questions
How long does a split AC installation take?
A straightforward single-unit installation with a short pipe run typically takes two to four hours. Longer pipe runs, high-level outdoor mounting, or core drilling through thick or reinforced walls take longer, and we tell you before we start.
How much does installation cost?
It depends on pipe run length, wall construction, mounting height and whether existing pipework can be reused. Describe the situation over the phone and we can usually give you an accurate figure without a site visit.
Can you reuse the pipework from my old air conditioner?
Sometimes. It depends on the pipe diameter, its condition, and whether the old system used a different refrigerant that leaves incompatible oil residue in the lines. We check and tell you honestly, because reusing bad pipework will damage a new compressor.
Will you install a unit I bought from someone else?
Yes. We install any brand. The workmanship warranty applies to our installation regardless of who made the unit.
